Python PostgreSQL Docker LiteLLM vLLM GitHub Actions AlembicI'm the technical lead for a stealth AI startup. The product orchestrates LLMs across a structured analytical pipeline to do the kind of multi-step reasoning work normally only done by human analysts — with the traceability and quality controls needed for the output to actually be trusted. The specifics are under NDA, but my role splits across two halves.
Python AI Agents Docker Nginx SystemdArgus is my custom AI agent system featuring specialized sub-agents. I set up this system from scratch on a VPS and it's mostly using nanobot as the core agent technology. Not only do I have agents running to assist me with my daily affairs (schedule planning, research tasks, obsidian vault management etc), but I also have an opencode instance that I can interact with from my phone. My productivity has improved immensely now that I essentially have a team of employees around me, and I can talk to them wherever and whenever.
Docker Nginx Github Actions PythonI built Aether, a Docker-based hosting infrastructure for my VPS. It includes Nginx reverse proxy configuration, systemd service management, and docker-compose setups for various services I run. It has a robust testing and deployment pipeline via GitHub Actions and Workflows. It hosts all my websites, email domains, my personal API Vulkan and a lot more. It's been crucial for managing all the online stuff I do, and really is the backbone of my digital life. Check it out [here](https://github.com/kungfusaini/aether)!
HTML CSS JavaScript Docker NginxI built the Reliq suite of site to showcase both my businesses - [Reliq Studios](https://reliqstudios.com) for web development and [Reliq Labs](https://reliqlabs.com) for backend and AI services. I also built an [umbrella site](https://reliq.digital). It was important to have a unified brand presence that could clearly communicate what each arm of my business offers.
Python LLMs AIBoth large, established tech companies and stealth startups are looking to increase the effectiveness of their models. What I do is first figure out how to break these models so they give poor responses, and then develop an ideal response that can be used for training. This usually involves creating super niche and technical programming problems/scenarios. Models are so smart these days that finding failures is much harder than writing the complex solution yourself. It's the perfect blend of creative and technical work.
Shell Zsh NixMy dotfiles setup is a complex configuration system for my development environment. It includes .zshenv, stow-managed configs, custom scripts, nix configurations and the nvim setup of my dreams. It covers my entire development workflow from documentation to writing code and everything in between.
JavaScriptI have a few different websites now, both professional, and personal. Some projects, I want to feature on multiple sites and I wasn't too keen on having projects being duplicated needlessly across codebases. So, I built the Project Grabber. Projects are written up in Markdown format together with their assets (like videos and images), and then served from my Vulkan API.
JavaScript CSS HTML Hugo DecapThis was a client website I built for a premium construction company. I built them a robust company platform, with Decap CMS, so they can manage the content on their site easily. The website has full blog functionality, a project portfolio with various carousels and ways to feature projects, testimonials, contact forms etc. It was exciting as I got a lot of freedom over the design of the website, incorporating the theme of blueprints across the site.
Python StreamlitI was tired of the standard approach to budgeting (Excel) as I felt it was slow and I can't build anything else off it, so I built something new. Goblin is the name of this system. I use the "Well" on my VPS to store financial transactions (either inputted via CLI or telegram bot). From this raw financial data, I then built a Streamlit UI for visualization. I now exclusively use this system for financial tracking and budgeting.
Python JavaScript RestI kept losing ideas and resources because either I didn't write them down, or they would get lost in my obsidian vault. I built a simple system called "Well", that stores ideas, tasks, and resources in an easy to place and retrieve manner. Well lives on my VPS, sitting behind my personal API, Vulkan. I built "Bucket" to interact with Well, which comprises of a CLI tool for desktop and a telegram bot for mobile. I have found that I actually revisit ideas and resources much more frequently than my previous quick capture systems enabled. The evolution of this would be to have AI agents able to interact with these Well entries to do my bidding!
Lua NeovimSpellcheck Mode is a Neovim plugin I built that enables a custom spell checker mode for faster spelling correction. It's written in Lua and integrates deeply with Neovim's spell-checking capabilities to improve the editing experience. I write all my notes, blog posts and even journal entries in nvim, so the speed is much appreciated!
JavaScript CSS HTML HugoIn making my personal blog, I learned about Hugo, a static site generator. It's something I use all the time now, and I really like the framework it provides. I wanted to lean into theme of "Techno-Sorcery" for this project. A lot of time was spent in unique features, like the smooth animations for filtering of posts, and the custom emphasis style.
JavaScript CSS HTML Three JSThis website! I wanted to create a unique personal website that would stand out. I learned a lot about Three JS and JavaScript in general from this project. The animations and user interaction took a long time to get right, but it was a rewarding project and I am very happy with the final result.
C++ Python LinuxI led the development of a market data feed handler for a major Asian stock exchange while at Mako Trading. The system handles aggregated and tick-by-tick data feeds, with full decompression handling and gap recovery via UDP Snapshots and TCP gap filling. This enabled the firm to ingest live data into their trading infrastructure to build strategies and trade in a previously untapped market. Not only did this involve creating and processing financial instruments, but building a robust orderbook. The market processor was able to handle the massive volume of data in real-time, which was an essential requirement.
JavaScript CSS HTMLI built a website for MassPeople to support their mission in developing autonomous maritime standards. I engineered a high-performance, on-brand digital platform that serves as the central command center for their global operations. This site bridges the gap between complex academic research and industry application, providing a secure, streamlined environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Python Pandas NumPy Matplotlib AWS S3 AWS Lambda AWS DynamoDB Azure API Prophet MLI worked in partnership with Bristol Airport and AWS to build an airport parking optimization system called SkySmart.
Python Spotify API Machine Learning Random ForestI organized the KCL AI Society "Match-A-Mood" Kaggle competition - a challenge to build an AI model capable of categorizing Spotify songs into different musical emotions.
Python Stable Diffusion Hugging Face FlaskI built this web app as a demo for the KCL AI Society welcome fair. Students could input their email to join the mailing list, then enter a sentence which generated AI art using Stable Diffusion via Hugging Face. The images were sent to them via email and displayed on the page for browsing. This is when gen AI was something new and hot, so this brought a huge crowd and lots of sign-ups for us!
Event Organizing Public SpeakingAs President of KCL AI Society, I organized and hosted several high-profile AI events featuring leading experts in the field.
Python React HTML/JS Leaflet MapsMe and my team won 1st place at IBM LabHack 2022 with "Wild Blue" - an innovative biodiversity tracking system for IBM Hursley. The project used gamification techniques to encourage employees to track and improve biodiversity around the Hursley site.
Python React Cisco DNA API REST APIs ML D3During my time at IBM, me and 3 other led the end-to-end development of RAPID (Rogue Access Point Identification and Detection) - an industry-first solution to identify and locate rogue wireless access points across IBM global sites.
Technical Writing AI Deep LearningI was a featured writer for The London Financial, a leading UK-based financial publication. I wrote technical articles on AI and deep learning topics for their Science & Tech section.

My recent focus has been reducing fricition in my work environment and ticking off some major todo list items!
I have spent a good chunk of time tweaking my neovim config to make everything just right, as well as introducing new tools such as tmux into my environment. If you want to check out my config take a look on

I had been meaning to create a personal website and email for a while, so I knocked that up on a VPS. I implemented a reverse proxy, first time!
Nov 2025
Over the last month, I focused on creating my personal website from scratch, and hosting this website, along with a custom API on my newly acquired VPS.
I decided to deploy with Docker containers, so I leared how these work, and set up a robust deployment pipeline with github actions.
If you want to check out my project "aether" take a look on

Next up is creating creating a blog with Hugo and also hosting this on my VPS!
Dec 2025
Last month, I built my blog
Arcane Codex
using the
Hugo
framework. A lot of the time was spent in theming, so I learned a lot about effective use of CSS. Deployment was relatively easy due to having already built infrastructure on my VPS. The most recent posts will be featured on this website in the blog panel.
Aside from freelancing, I spent the rest of the month partaking in Google's 5 day intensive AI agents course. I have a good grasp on the framework now, building the foundation for future projects to come. You can check out my
blog post
on what makes effective AI agents, or check out my
GitHub
for detailed notes from the course!
This month I will be focusing on contracting, writing on my blog and experimenting with AI agents.
Jan 2026
Happy New Year!
Recently, I mostly focused on my freelance AI red teaming work, but still had some time to do some other cool stuff! Freelancing has been a crash course in the "business" side of things—contracts, pricing, and packaging services. I am in the middle of creating a client focused brand, Reliq, which will serve as a hub for my freelance work and new web dev projects, for which I learned a lot about SEO, client hosting and CMS. Thankfully, the hosting infrastructure I built months ago has made launching these new sites and email accounts incredibly fast.
I wanted to see how my websites were performing, so I integrated analytics, via
Plausible
. It's been great to see exactly where people are finding my stuff and how they interact with my pages.
I've noticed increased traffic to this site but especially my blog.
Speaking of my blog, I created a few new posts on
Arcane Codex
, and was especially proud of the one exploring the missing skills of vibecoders!
I'm glad people are seeing what I am putting out into the world!
For other random stuff, of course my system config
system config
gets better by the day, but I also found out about
TaskWarrior
which filled a really massive need for managing my tasks effectively from the terminal.
I also built a simple tool and API for capturing thoughts rapidly, which I called
bucket
and a telegram bot
bucketbot
so I can have the same functionality from my phone too. It works great for me and helps me follow the
GTD philosophy.
Finally, I started work on a new finance dashboard because I got tired of using Excel and remembered I can do everything in python instead (wink!). The streamlit framework is amazing, handling all the front end, and I can just focus on data manipulation!
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but it's been a great month! This month I will be building client websites, my own professional brand, and finishing up some of the projects mentioned above! Thanks for stopping by.
Feb 2026
The start of the year has been busy, with a lot of exploration and experimentation.
I recently started freelance web development, and completed my first client project. It's a change of pace from the AI red teaming I have been working on. I learned a lot about the more professional aspects of client work, like consent managment, CMS platforms and how to handle payments and billing. It was a legnthy project that took a good chunk of the month, but I a very proud with the result. I hope to work on more web projects along side my AI work in the future, so reach out if you need some work done!
I have also been experimenting a lot with my AI workflow.
Opencode
has been by tool of choice, but I was not seeing the results I wanted using it raw with even models as powerful as Claude Opus 4.5. I had heard about
Oh My Opencode
and wanted to give it a shot, but wanted to tailor the agent and LLM pairings to be hyper specialised.
Nano GPT
is a great service I found that has a very generous subscription model that allowed me to experiment a lot, and I now have a system I am very happy with. I will be writing a post on my blog
Arcane Codex
soon detailing my findings.
Speaking of my blog, I'm getting more and more readers every month! Even though my goal was never to gain an audience, I am very happy to see people checking it out, so if you have, thanks! If you haven't, check it out
here!
I've made some tweaks to the finance system I created last month and it has really been helping me manage the In's and Out's of freelancing with confidence. Finally, I have been sitting on an idea for quite heavily modifying my guitar with full MIDI support for a while. I have been tinkering with my Raspbery Pi, and hopefully I'll have something I can share and take on stage pretty soon!
This month I will continue working on my AI red teaming work, and furthering my learning in AI and AI agents.
Mar 2026
The theme of this month has been connection, as many people have reached out to me, most of them curious how life looks like on the other side! It's great to see them doing well and sharing what I have been up to!
So, what have I been up to? Well, my AI freelancing has been accelerated this month. I got to work on some cool projects, comparing and trying to break Gemini 3, Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.2. These things are getting smart! I really feel like I am developing expertise in LLM's and AI in general.
Two other AI updates. I have started attending a weekly AI meetup in where we research topics and discuss our findings in an informal setting. It's a great way to not get overwhelmed with the sheer amount of progress in the field. I have also been quite inspired by OpenClaw, and wanted to build my own AI agent. I was not too excited by OpenClaw itself, as it's got a lot of bloat, but then I discovered NanoBot. I set up a fresh VPS and will be sharing what me and my agent get up too in the coming months!
I have also launched
Reliq Studios
. I wanted to have a more client centric portal for web development, beside this personal website, now that I have a few client projects under my belt (as well as some cool websites of my own!). As I needed a way to show off projects, I thought it would be good to build a project system that all my sites can use, rather than duplicating content. I now have my API serving projects write-ups that any site can use, neat!
I've also extended this site to have a project section, which will be live soon (or maybe now if you are from the future!). It was a challenge to add another face to this 3D object but I am really happy with the result.
This month I'll be travelling! I'm going to India, spending 1 week in Punjab, a couple weeks visiting Varanasi, Lucknow and Ayodyha, and finally a week in Mumbai. Along the way, I'll work on filling out my project portfolio with previous work, and continue to work on my super agent. See you!
Apr 2026
Recently I've been travelling all over India! I toured all over Punjab, visited Chandigarh and spent the rest of my time in Mumbai. That being said, I do have a few updates to share.
I experimented a lot with AI agent on my trip. Because I didn't always have access to my laptop, I wanted to build a solution for coding on the go, and I think I have cracked it! I experimented a lot with OpenClaw and NanoBot, but in the end I have settled on hosting an opencode instance on a VPS. I then linked this up to a domain with the opencode web GUI and now I really can code from my phone. I just finished implementing VibaKanban into the infrastructure as well, so now I have a fully autonomous and AI-friendly project managements system I can use from anywhere. Big success!
Another big task I completed was writing up and capturing media for all of my projects. I knew I had done a lot of stuff in the past, but it's so easy to forget the details. I spent a good long while combing through my files and recalling my work experience, but I think I caught all the good ones at least. As my API Vulkan is serving all these projects, my
Reliq
sites also feature these projects where appropriate, just with more professional project descriptions. Neat!
Looking to the future, I've recently been approached by a stealth startup, and I will be joining their team for the next few months. I'm really excited about the project, and this will be taking the majority of my time, as well as my ongoing AI freelancing.
It's going to be a period of deep work now that I'm back in the UK. I'm ready to get going!
May 2026
It's been busy! Alongside my AI training work, I've been working hard at the stealth startup I joined last month. I also recently got back from the Netherlands, I had a fantastic trip there seeing the tulip fields!
It's been very exciting to act as lead developer in the startup. It requires more theory than I expected, as a lot of my work is defining standards and setting objectives, alongside the regular programming tasks. I've gained a lot of experience in DevOps too. There is a lot of work to get done over the next couple of months, but I'm confident in the team's ability to get it done.
In the little spare time I have, I've been making changes to my own personal AI system. After experimenting with all the different frameworks, I came across this paper , which outlines a different methodology of managing AI agents. I'm in the process of doing a full revamp, but will pause this work for the time being.
Other than that, no major work updates. My focus is on the startup and AI training at the moment, and will be for the next few months.
Jun 2026
Things have been going just as expected! Work has been heavily focused on the start up I'm working at.
We are at the stage where exciting talks are beginning to happen, and people are rolling in for demos. It's been quite rewarding to see our hard work pay off in that regard, and I know that something great will come out of this.
My AI training work continues as normal. I have been spending some spare time building a CV system, which can help me keep my CV up to date and create tailored CVs for different opportunities. Makes my life a lot easier!
I've been working on a little bit of a passion project as well, and I'm excited to get it out there. Stay tuned for that!
